Foundations of Yoga Course – Yoga for Women’s Health – Meditation Courses

We’re delighted to celebrate the graduation of another group of teacher trainees. While it’s the completion of the initial formal training, the teaching journey begins!.

We’re really happy to offer our graduates the opportunity to practice their teaching through our community yoga program, which we ran throughout Ramadan, and will continue every Thursday night. It’s open to all, so spread the word and book in advance!

The teacher training run at Nilaya House is from the world-renowned Yoga Institute in Mumbai. This means not only is the curriculum extremely thorough and in-depth covering all aspects of traditional yoga, but the graduates now have a certificate from a globally-recognised yoga organisation, as well as Yoga Alliance certification.

The Yoga Institute has trained thousands of teachers throughout the world during its long history. What a fantastic alumni to be part of!

Six-Week Foundations of Yoga Course

This six-week course is designed to introduce students to the foundations of an integrated yoga practice. The course will cover yogaasanas, breathing exercises (pranayama), meditation & relaxation and yoga philosophy. It is suitable for beginners, or anyone wanting a thorough introduction to the key principles of yoga.


Five-Week Buddhist Meditation Course

with Camilo Cerro

Saturdays 6:00-7:00pm

Starts May 22

AED380 (online via zoom, live only)

Week One: What is Meditation?
Week Two: Anapanasati (Breath Awareness)
Week Three: Body Scan techniques
Week Four: Thong Len (heart-centered practice)
Week Five: Technique refinement and consolidation

The class will consist of a 30 minute theory lecture followed by 20-30 minutes of practical meditation, and time for Q&A.


Yin & Roll with Amanda & Emilie

Stress – Body tension – Recovery for performance.

How does self massage and long releases sound?

Combining self massage, using Yoga Tune Up therapy balls, and long Yin releases, Amanda and Emilie’s signature workshop will leave you feeling connected, stretched out and UTTERLY relaxed.

No yoga experience needed. If you have a body, you can do this practice.


Yoga for Women’s Health with Hodis Kavian

This workshop focuses on yoga sequences to support the female reproductive system and promote a relaxation response. The sessions will relax, renew and rejuvenate.

This session is designed for and will benefit greatly:

– Women suffering from pre-menopause symptoms.
– Women experiencing PMS symptoms and menstrual pain, particularly before and during the cycle.
– Women looking to reduce the impact of a busy life on their mental and physical wellbeing.
