In this session we will be looking at two limbs of the Yoga Practice
Through the physical practice of the Asanas the body is purified and brought into a state of balance. The first 90min we will practise an Iyengar sequence to open energize the body and release tension patterns.
Once centered we will sit down to practise Dharana or concentration of the mind. Before we attempt meditation, it is important to learn the skill of collecting and focusing the mind. You will be guided to work with the breath as an object of focus and tips on how to train the mind.
As with everything both asana and Dharana require regular consistent practice to get better. By coming together as a group and practising together we can gain more energy and inspiration.
