An introduction to Ancient Breathing Practices, supported with modern understanding.

As an aspiring yogi, the practice of pranayama is required or even mandated. This structural breathing course will give a purpose to practice pranayama. Some of the topics covered will include how to and when to implement different breath techniques in Yoga and daily life.

Topics include:

  • Abdominal Breathing – When and When not to
  • Use of Diaphragm
  • Exhale Inhale Ratios
  • Art of Kumbhaka or Retention of breath
  • Application of breathing for day to day life and other activities

Movement of breath is the physical representation of the speed of mind. Hence the one who controls the breath, in turn controls his life.
