About Camilo

Camilo Cerro is an award-winning eco-social designer, sustainable-living researcher, author, cultural nomad, design tinkerer and also assistant professor of Architecture and Interior Design at the American University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates and Principal of Dharmatecture in Brooklyn New York. After earned his Master of Architecture degree at Columbia University in the city of New York, he studied 12 years of Monastic Tibetan Buddhism where he learned to meditate.
